Our approach goes beyond traditional training methods:
Our training options are filled with practical cases, simulation games and exercises, debating sessions, workshops and/or exchanges with experts.
After a training programme, the participants will actively contribute to the professional or educational development of your organisation. The duration of the training concept depends on your requirements, the complexity of the topic and the level and number of participants. Courses can be conducted in English and German.

1. Workshop: An Introduction to Human Rights
This workshop aims to provide a better understanding of the concept of human rights to anyone who wants to take responsibility for the adherence to the norms and principles of human rights as well as to their implementation.
- Increased knowledge of the norms and principles of human rights and their implementation.
- Ability to identify strategies and tools to recognise human rights violations in daily life situations
- Ability to apply strategies and tools to address human rights violations both in everyday life and within the workplace
2. Workshop: The Anti - Racism and (intersectional) Discrimination Training
- Increased understanding of the concept of race, racism and discrimination
- Increased knowledge of the contexts in which racism occurs and what its impacts are
- Ability to identify strategies and tools to recognise racism and provide effective bystander action and support
- Ability to identify strategies and tools to address racist behaviours both in everyday life and within the workplace
This training is directed to increase participants’ understanding of their roles/responsibilities and key strategies to advancing racial equity, diversity and inclusion. We help participants to develop the knowledge and tools to adequately understand, identify, address and mitigate racism and discrimination in any possible environment.
3. Workshop: The Rights of Refugees in International and European Law
There are many reasons why people in the world seek to rebuild their lives in a different country. Some people leave home to take up a job or an education. And others, however, are forced to flee their homes from violence, war, hunger, extreme poverty, persecution or human rights violations such as torture. Often times, people will face a combination of these difficult circumstances.
This workshop aims to introduce a human rights-based approach to the understanding of the rights of refugees and the responsibilities of state parties in the protection of refugees under the United Nations Refugee Convention, as well as in European and national laws.
- Increased knowledge of the rights and remedies of refugees under international, European and nationals laws
- Increased knowledge about the asylum procedures in Europe
- Increased understanding of the role of international organisations and governments in the protection of refugees
- Ability to identify strategies and tools to recognise violations against refugees in any given environment
- Ability to identify strategies and tools to address violations against refugees in any given environment
4. Workshop: Rights of Persons with Disabilities
- Increased knowledge of the rights of persons with disabilities under the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD)
- Increased awareness of the importance of the inclusion of persons with disabilities in society, educational and work places
- Increased understanding of the role of international organisations and governments in the protection of persons with disabilities
- Ability to identify strategies and tools to recognise restrictions of the rights of persons with disabilities
- Ability to identify strategies and tools to address human rights violations against persons with disabilities in any given environment
- Increased understanding of your roles and responsibilities and key strategies to advance inclusion and preventing discrimination against persons with disabilities in any given environment
This workshop intends to introduce a human rights-based approach to disability, as well as to understand core aspects of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), with a particular focus on anti-discrimination and participation and inclusion.
